How did you get into photography?
It’s a bit of a weird story, to be honest. About four years ago, I had this lucid dream of someone telling me to go buy a camera… so I did! I couldn’t explain why, but I just went to the nearest store and bought a Nikon.
What made you pursue portrait photography specifically?
I started by just shooting landscapes and architecture for about a year but, after a bit of encouragement from some friends, I decided to try my hand at portraits. I shot a few weddings too, but I found them way too stressful; I prefer the creative freedom that portraits allow.
How does the Anova PRO 2 help with your portraits?
Before, I could only shoot at certain places at certain times of the day to make sure I had enough daylight. I still use natural light a lot in my work, but the Anova PRO 2 gives me that extra power, and the catch light really brings my shots to life.
