How would you describe your style? 

As a portrait photographer, I would describe my style as simple and straight forward with the focus on the person; particularly the expression on their faces. Therefore, I work with the person very intensively. I also do very little retouching and I like to focus on the contrast in colour and light. 

What is your favourite Rotolight product? 

I love to use the NEO and AEOS because I work a lot on locations. It gives me flexibility – easy to transport and quick to set up. 

What advice do you have for people getting into photography?

Learn to see and read light. Concentrate on your subject not the technique.  Communicate with the person who is standing in front of your camera. 

How is Rotolight different from other lights you’ve used?

Light is everything in photography. I need a light that I can change as quick as possible and where I can see the change immediately for my work, so I can stay in the flow during the photoshoot.  Rotolight serves my needs as it is easy to use; I only need to set the two knobs and the angle and I’m good to go.
