Why did you decide to pursue photography?
I grew up skateboarding and playing music but, as I got older, I realised I needed a creative outlet that could help me earn a living. Even then, I didn’t own a camera until I was around 23 years old.
What’s the most challenging shoot you’ve been on?
I have done a lot of crazy and cool photoshoots either on my own or while assisting. Usually the most challenging shoots are location shoots on barges, rooftops, or in the water. I have faced most of challenges one could face in photography which is why I strive to know what new gear is available to make things ruin smoother.
What advice would you give anyone looking to get into photography?
Be curious and understand how things work. It is one thing to being able to take a great photo but another thing interlay to be able to create a great photo consistently. This only comes from knowing how your gear works so you can make creative decisions on the fly without either sacrificing image quality or your own creative vision.
