Rotolight closes the year with two more awards for product innovation!

We’re overjoyed that both our revolutionary studio light, Anova PRO 2, and ultra-portable location light, AEOS, have been awarded Product Innovation accolades from well-respected publications in the broadcast industry.

Now in its sixth year, the Product Innovation Awards recognise excellence in products for the television, professional video, radio and online audio industries. Winners are selected by a panel of professional users and evaluated on the innovation of concept and design, creative use of technology, price value and suitability for use in creative production.

Both the AEOS and the Anova PRO 2 are the industry’s first units to offer an all-in-one flicker-free continuous light and High Speed Sync flash for ultimate versatility. Tuneable colour temperature from 3150-6300K also allows users to match to the ambient lighting situation; making both units ideal for studio and outside broadcasts.

The AEOS was recognised by experts from Government Video, who report on products for federal, military and governmental uses. The AEOS is Rotolight’s ultimate location LED; weighing only 1.4kg and less than 1 inch thick, it reduces excess weight when travelling and provides even the smallest of crews with the flexibility to create high-quality productions.

Rotolight’s flagship Anova PRO 2 is the latest member of the award-winning Anova family; most recently named “love at first sight” by Studio Daily at NAB’s 2018 Best of Show awards.  Recognised by TV Technology for the way it enhances the workflows of broadcasters around the world, it’s already become the light of choice for Italian state broadcaster, RAI. The Anova PRO 2 has also played an integral part in cutting-edge studios Celebro Media’s expansion to LA, Washington and Russia.

“It’s fantastic to be able to close 2018 with two more awards within the broadcast sector,” says Rod Aaron Gammons, managing director of Rotolight. “It’s been a fantastic year for Rotolight and with a total of eight new awards, we’re pleased that both panels at TV Technology and Government Video also recognise us as driving change in the industry, with many more exciting developments to follow in 2019.”
