Rotolight take home two Amateur Photographer Awards
MONDAY 27TH FEBRUARY 2023
Rotolight’s British-made NEO 3 & AEOS 2 PRO Edition lights have received industry-wide praise and early accolades from the creative community. The latest visionary products from Rotolight have already collected prestigious industry awards, including the ‘BEST LED LIGHT’ for the AEOS 2 PRO Edition, and the NEO 3 PRO Edition winning Editors Choice for the ‘BEST ON-CAMERA FLASH’ category in the Photography News Awards 2022. The Rotolight NEO 3 Pro Edition has also been crowned as the overall winner in the highly competitive and sought-after ‘ACCESSORY OF THE YEAR’ category at the recent Amateur Photographer Magazine Awards at a glittering ceremony in London’s West End.
We’re over the moon to pick up this prestigious award from such a highly respected publication. Amateur Photographer magazine is the only weekly photographic publication in the world and has a rich history in the sector. The annual Amateur Photographer awards are selected by their expert technical team and are some of the most sought-after in the industry. The recognition of Rotolight’s market-leading RGBWW LED lighting innovation is welcomed by the whole team and underlines the central goal of providing endless creative possibilities for our user community.

The Rotolight SmartSoft™ Box also earned the prestigious title of ‘INNOVATION OF THE YEAR’ at the same event, recognising the company’s ongoing endeavour to deliver industry-firsts and tools, which continue to broaden creative potential for the global creative community. Using liquid crystal technology to allow the degree of diffusion to be electronically adjusted across a 1.5-stop range, users can vary the focus and spread of light, while judging the effect in real time.
We’ve been continually impressed by the way Rotolight has led the industry with its sophisticated LED lights, and in 2022, it again showed off its technological prowess by producing a revolutionary variable softbox for its AEOS 2 light. It’s both clever and useful, and there’s nothing else quite like it on the market.
